Fr. Mike has built several water retention tanks in the area including: the government secondary school: the local medical clinic: several tanks built in the surrounding community areas for the people and their livestock.

As is the case in many government schools in Tanzania, they are under resourced. Malambo Secondary school is no exception. With a student body numbering several hundred, who must board due to the distance they have to travel to school. In 2016, 75 beds were donated to the school, where students had been sleeping on mattresses on the floors of the dormitories.

Donations for these beds came from some generous individuals who have a long association and partnership with Fr Mike and the Pallottines.
